For the most part this is s solid story that provides a good support to the main Hickman book. It also attempts to create a network of like-minded global teams by introducing a Chinese team and re-introducing a European one. As great as Hickman's big ideas are, he isn't exactly a character writer, especially on a team of 30 Avengers, so this book allows some characterisation and further fleshing out of the new members in the squad.
